I am Geeta Bhuiyan, from a remote village in Midnapore. I am an 87-year-old widowed woman. I have 3 sons who I have raised spending all my savings. But they have abandoned me and left to work in the city. I used to spend my days without even getting a proper meal once a day. Save the Human Foundation provides me and other underprivileged women of our area with free food twice a day. The meals we receive every day is hot and very delicious. We are now leading a healthy life and able to work with much more energy. We are obliged that Save the Human Foundation has taken such an incredible initiative to provide food to distressed women like us.
I am Ramesh Bauri. I am a rickshaw driver of the Bankura district of West Bengal. For the last three years, I am suffering from multiple heart blockages and the doctors have said that I need immediate surgery. Being the only earning member of the family, I cannot afford the expensive operation and medications. Million of such financially-marginalized people of our community face the helplessness of being unable to afford medical treatments. Save the Human Foundation has shared the responsibility of providing free healthcare treatments to the economically-distressed community of our society. I am now receiving regular free medical check-ups from the best cardiologists. Save the Human Foundation has taken responsibility for my heart surgery without any cost.
The right to education is one of the fundamental rights of every citizen. But hundreds of children in our district are deprived of the light of education due to their financial condition. I am Shamal, an aspiring mathematician. I was studying in the 7th grade at the District Government School of Purulia. My teachers were very hopeful that I would become a mathematician in the future. Despite having the potential of building a bright career, poverty forced me to drop out of school and start working at the age of 13. Save the Human Foundation came to my rescue. Now I am going to school again and chasing my dreams of being a mathematician. Save the Human Foundation is proving Free Education to me and several other students of our area.
A special eye check-up camp was organised by Save The Human Foundation near Bhowanipore area. Free spectacle and medicine were also provided by us at free of cost to the people.
A free vegetable distribution camp was initiated by Save The Human Foundation at Alipore area to control Covid-19 eruption. People came and collected vegetables from the camp.
Our volunteers are participating in a free book distribution camp for needy students in our society, organised by Save The Human Foundation.
People have come and responded to our free medical camp to check up on health, organised by Save The Human Foundation.
Our mission 10 Thousand Meals is an attempt to supply 10 thousand Mid-day meals to schoolchildren in our society in a year. All we need to achieve our dream mission is 200 donors to donate Rs.50 every month. The amount of donation will be sufficient to feed 10,000 hungry school students with one hot meal a day in our society.
One in three of the world’s malnourished children live in India. Our children are going to school hungry. They suffer from lack of concentration and reduced cognitive development, directly leading to their dropping out of school. Join us in our mission to prevent hunger diminishing our children’s opportunities to succeed.
Save The Human Foundation is dedicated towards working for children, women, poor and helpless individuals of our society. The major program of our NGO is to educate children and provide healthcare facilities to women and elderly people. We provide training for skill development to help young people find jobs and even start their own business and lead a life of dignity.
